Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a senior network engineer to manage the HQ and remote offices' LANs, ensuring optimal performance and security. You will troubleshoot complex issues, lead LAN upgrade projects, and coordinate with ISPs across locations.

You will oversee SD-WAN operations with Versa hardware, support disaster recovery sites, and implement automation using Python and Ansible Tower while building Datadog dashboards for proactive visibility and health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in computer networking, network infrastructure management, and enterprise network operations.
• Professional networking or SD-WAN certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HQ and remote offices' LANs to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and network integrity.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues to minimize downtime and maintain high availability.
• Lead LAN enhancement projects across all remote offices, including new office deployments.
• Manage SD-WAN connectivity and Versa SD-WAN hardware for stability and security; support DR sites.
• Coordinate with ISPs and internal teams to monitor performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Develop automation solutions using Python and Ansible Tower and create Datadog dashboards for real-time monitoring.
