Job summary

Atticus Advisory Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to support an Indonesia Tax Localization implementation.

The role focuses on configuring Indonesian VAT (PPN), withholding tax (PPh), statutory reporting, and related tax accounting in NetSuite, aligned with client tax advisers. This is a part-time engagement with 8 AM–12 PM EST, and candidates in the Philippines or nearby regions are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of NetSuite functional consulting experience.
• Experience implementing tax localization, VAT and withholding tax.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite SuiteTax.
• Experience with statutory reporting and tax reconciliation.
• Experience with 3rd-party integrations and journal entry imports.
• Indonesia localization preferred; Philippine or SE Asia experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Configure NetSuite tax codes, types, accounts, and withholding tax rules.
• Support VAT accounting and reconciliation for revenue from imported Journal Entries.
• Configure and validate withholding tax on Vendor Bills from Coupa.
• Develop or configure statutory VAT and withholding tax reports with CSV exports.
• Assess Bukti Potong certificates and Coretax reporting requirements.
• Work with technical consultants on tax-related integrations and customizations.
• Perform end-to-end testing, UAT, documentation, and go-live support.
• Ensure tax configurations are restricted to the Indonesian subsidiary.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to support an Indonesia Tax Localization implementation. The consultant will be responsible for configuring Indonesian VAT (PPN), withholding tax (PPh), statutory reporting, and related tax accounting processes in NetSuite, based on requirements provided by the client's local tax advisers (KPMG).

What You'll Be Doing:

• Configure NetSuite tax codes, tax types, tax accounts, and withholding tax rules.
• Support VAT accounting and reconciliation for revenue recorded through imported Journal Entries.
• Configure and validate withholding tax on Vendor Bills integrated from Coupa.
• Develop or configure statutory VAT and withholding tax reports, including CSV exports and supporting documentation.
• Assess requirements for Bukti Potong certificates and Coretax-compatible reporting.
• Work with technical consultants on tax-related s, integrations, and customizations.
• Perform end-to-end testing, UAT, documentation, and go-live support.
• Ensure tax configurations and customizations are restricted to the appropriate Indonesian subsidiary.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of NetSuite functional consulting experience preferred.
• Proven experience implementing tax localization, VAT, and withholding tax solutions.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite SuiteTax and/or Legacy Tax.
• Experience with statutory reporting, Saved Searches, and tax reconciliation.
• Experience working with third-party integrations and Journal Entry imports.
• Indonesia tax localization experience preferred; Philippine or other Southeast Asian localization experience acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and tax advisers.
