Job summary

Axos is seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend .NET API Developer to design, build, and optimize secure backend systems for financial services. You will work on .NET Core / ASP.NET Core APIs, microservices, and high-volume transactions, with focus on security, compliance, and reliability.

You will participate in production incident calls, own issue resolution, and drive RCAs to prevent recurrence, collaborating with QA, DevOps, and Infra to ensure uptime and fast recovery.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of backend development experience in financial services.
• Proven enterprise API and microservices delivery.
• Strong security, compliance, and incident management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production incident calls and drive RCA.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in .NET.
• Lead architecture design and scalability efforts.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Infra and product teams.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews.
