Job summary

Talan Spain is seeking a senior engineer to shape and deliver robust .NET software for electronic trading and pricing workflows. You will build a greenfield platform on AWS using current .NET technologies, driving reliability and production‑ready delivery.

Across architecture, design, testing and operations you will own complex platform components, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and mentor others in CI/CD and observability. English is required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Expert command of C# and .NET/.NET Core with OO design and clean architecture.
• Substantial experience designing and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services in production.
• Advanced knowledge of multi‑threading, asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modelling and operational support.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Proven track record delivering API‑driven microservices and service‑oriented architectures.
• Strong automation testing mindset across unit/integration/BDD with NUnit, Moq or equivalent.
• Exposure to messaging/event‑driven architectures (RabbitMQ, TIBCO, SignalR).
• Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git, TeamCity).
• Agile teams and production support for reliability and observability.
• English fluency; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain reliable .NET components across the delivery lifecycle.
• Own technically demanding platform components, ensuring resilience and proper documentation.
• Apply sound engineering judgement across architecture, design and deployment concerns.
• Collaborate with trading, product, architecture and infrastructure teams to align with business priorities.
• Strengthen engineering standards, including test automation, observability and secure coding.
