Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Sr. Medical Scientific Liaison to build trusted external partnerships and drive peer-to-peer knowledge exchange to improve disease awareness.

From clinical development onwards, inform strategic decisions and support patient care by understanding therapeutic areas and healthcare landscapes. Key duties include engaging stakeholders, gathering insights, and supporting educational activities while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or life/health sciences degree.
• Ability to collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders, to develop & strengthen trusted partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel (within the territory/nation, and occasionally internationally).

Responsibilities

• Engage external stakeholders to build long-term partnerships and facilitate early clinical adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory-specific stakeholder engagement plan in line with objectives.
• Communicate scientific data and asset value using omnichannel approaches.
• Gather and share actionable insights with Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams.
