Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Test Engineering to serve as the global technical authority for manufacturing test technologies supporting AI Power and Plasma Power products.

The role leads global test strategy, DFT governance, ICT coverage optimization, functional test architecture, burn-in methodologies, reliability screening, AI-driven analytics, and standardization. The position reports to the Director, Test Engineering and requires onsite work at Sta.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years in electronics manufacturing test engineering.
• At least 5 years leading global test technology initiatives and teams.
• Strong expertise in AI Power Supplies, Plasma Power Systems, ICT, FCT, Burn-In, and Reliability Testing.
• Willing to work full-time onsite at Sta. Rosa, Laguna or Rosario, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global manufacturing test technology roadmap for AI Power.
• Lead ICT, FCT, burn-in and reliability test strategy across sites.
• Drive DFT coverage and test data analytics for yield improvements.
• Develop automated test platforms for high-frequency, high-power products.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Test Engineering serves as the global technical authority for manufacturing test technologies supporting AI Power Supply and Plasma Power products. The role leads global test strategy, DFT governance, ICT coverage optimization, functional test architecture, burn-in methodologies, reliability screening, AI-driven test analytics, and global manufacturing test standardization

This position will report to Director, Test Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Global Test Technology Leadership

• Define and execute the global manufacturing test technology roadmap for AI Power
• Supply and Plasma Power products.
• Establish global standards for ICT, FCT, SLT, Burn-In, test software, fixtures,
• instrumentation and manufacturing data collection.
• Lead technology deployment and standardization across global manufacturing sites.

AI Power Supply Testing Leadership

• Develop test strategies for AI server power supplies, OCP power shelves, rack power
• systems and high-power AC-DC/DC-DC products.
• Lead automation and optimization of efficiency, PFC, dynamic load, PMBus, protection
• and current-sharing verification testing.
• Reduce cycle time while improving fault detection and diagnostic accuracy.

ICT and DFT Excellence

• Drive DFT reviews with R&D teams to maximize structural test coverage.
• Improve ICT coverage for analog, digital, power and communication circuits using ICT,
• Boundary Scan, JTAG, Flying Probe and hybrid methodologies.
• Analyze escapes, field returns and yield losses to strengthen defect screening capability.

Burn-In and Reliability Engineering

• Lead burn-in strategies for AI Power products and reliability-critical platforms.
• Optimize stress profiles, screening effectiveness and burn-in cycle time using statistical
• analysis and reliability models.
• Develop predictive methodologies to identify latent defects and infant mortality risks.

Plasma Power Testing & Reliability Leadership

• Lead manufacturing test strategies for RF Generators, Match Networks, DC Plasma
• Power Supplies, Bias Generators and semiconductor power systems.
• Define RF output verification, forward/reflected power measurement, frequency
• stability, arc detection, ignition simulation, high-voltage isolation and thermal stress
• testing requirements.
• Develop automated test platforms capable of validating high-frequency and high-power
• plasma products with high repeatability and measurement integrity.
• Drive reliability improvements through advanced failure analysis and corrective
• actions.

AI-Driven Manufacturing Testing

• Utilize AI and machine learning for yield prediction, fault isolation, failure classification
• and predictive maintenance.
• Develop analytics dashboards for FPY, DPPM, test escape rate, burn-in yield and
• reliability performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of (12) years of experience in electronics manufacturing test engineering.
• At least (5) years of experience leading global test technology initiatives and teams.
• Strong expertise in AI Power Supplies, Plasma Power Systems, In-Circuit Testing (ICT), Functional Circuit Testing (FCT), Burn-In, and Reliability Testing.
• Proven ability to drive test engineering strategies, process improvements, and manufacturing excellence in a global environment.
• Willing to work full-time onsite at either Sta. Rosa, Laguna or Rosario, Cavite location.
