Okada Manila seeks an experienced Lighting Lead to balance artistic vision with technical feasibility for high-profile events across our venues. You will lead a team of AVL technicians, ensure top-tier event coverage, and coordinate with VIP clients and production companies to deliver exceptional productions.

The role requires strong GrandMA2/GrandMA3 proficiency, video camera operation, and photography for event documentation, with a focus on safety, training, and continuous improvement in AVL

Formación

• Proven experience operating and programming GrandMA2/GrandMA3 in live entertainment venues.
• Strong background in video camera operations, including framing and exposure control.
• Experience in photography for event documentation and technical references.
• Proficiency in event management, planning and equipment assessment.
• Deep understanding of AVL technology and industry trends.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain balance between artistic vision and technical feasibility for events.
• Operate and program GrandMA2/GrandMA3 consoles, manage cue programming, patching, and show files.
• Provide technical leadership in video production and camera operations for events and productions.
• Oversee camera framing, shot coordination, and live coverage quality.
• Conduct professional photography for event documentation and technical reference.
• Monitor and enforce AVL safety practices (rigging, power, cables).
• Train new technicians on equipment use and safety protocols.
• Create basic technical layouts and signal flow diagrams for events.
• Manage and schedule audio, video, and lighting technicians.
• Oversee day-to-day AVL operations across all spaces.
• Serve as primary technical liaison for VIP clients and production companies.
• Support diversity and professional growth within the department.
• Set performance metrics and conduct operator evaluations.
• Approve technical plans, run-of-shows, and production schedules.
• Participate in executive meetings to align technical capabilities with business goals.
