Job summary

Deltek in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned software developer to design, build, and maintain automation and reporting solutions using Java-based exports, with SAP BO integrations.

You will analyze business requirements, translate them into scalable technical solutions, and ensure alignment with existing architecture. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on development, strong OOP and SQL skills, and willingness to work a mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM–10:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5-7 years of hands-on development experience in REST/SOAP web services and REST Framework technologies.
• Strong working experience with Oracle Database and MS SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SQL development.
• Experience in application performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP BO, Data Warehousing (DWH), BI methodologies, and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within globally distributed teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and dynamic project requirements.
• Willing to work mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation and statutory reporting solutions using Java-based data export facility extensions
• Support Java applications and integrations with SAP BO
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure implementations align with existing product frameworks and architecture standards
• Perform code reviews, optimization, and defect resolution to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities requiring development intervention
• Provide technical support during test and production deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-location teams to resolve moderate to complex application and software issues
• Contribute to process improvement and quality initiatives, including automation opportunities
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog estimation, and status reporting
• Assist in improving application performance, stability, and maintainability
