Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines seeks a Senior IT Auditor (SOX) to evaluate IT controls and risk management, supporting ICFR and ERP/cloud environments while contributing to audit strategies. This 100% remote, night-shift position suits a detail-oriented professional.

You will lead IT audits, document findings, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to strengthen financial reporting integrity and IT governance. A strong SOX/background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, preferably within a publicly traded company.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Solid understanding of IT systems, controls, and processes, including experience with ERP systems, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in auditing IT General Controls (ITGCs), automated controls, and key reports supporting financial processes.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO and COBIT, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work.
• High ethical standards, accountability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document IT audits aligned with the audit plan.
• Support ICFR assessment including IT walkthroughs and testing.
• Prepare high-quality audit workpapers and reports.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and track remediation.
• Collaborate with control owners and external auditors.
• Educate stakeholders on internal control requirements.
• Stay current on technology, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
• Communicate audit insights and recommendations to management.
