Job summary

Arcadis Manila is seeking an Interior Designer I (Senior Designer) to lead detailed design documentation for high-profile retail and commercial interiors. You will specialize in joinery and millwork, develop buildable solutions, and coordinate with architecture, MEP, lighting, and cost teams.

The role requires 7+ years in interior design or related fields, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong presentation and mentoring abilities to guide junior designers and ensure design quality across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or technical design documentation.
Strong expertise in joinery and millwork detailing, including cabinetry and fixtures.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to produce and coordinate detailed drawings.
Solid understanding of retail design standards, accessibility, life safety, and building codes.
Experience with interior elevations, sections, FF&E/ finishes schedules, and fit-out docs.
Knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape or similar visualization tools is a plus.
Excellent coordination, communication, and mentoring abilities; manages multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of interior design packages from concept through construction and site support.
Prepare and coordinate layouts, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and construction documentation.
Develop and review joinery and millwork drawings including cabinetry and fixtures.
Translate brand standards and operational requirements into practical design solutions.
Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, Lighting, Signage, Structural, Fire Safety, and Cost Consultant teams.
Review drawings for technical accuracy, buildability, and compliance with codes.
Lead or support design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to design quality and process improvements.
Identify and resolve design risks and coordination challenges to support project delivery.
