Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT or cybersecurity.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in IT cybersecurity or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of networks, firewalls, VPNs and security protocols.
• Experience with security tooling and incident response practices.

About the role

Creative Infosolutions, Inc. is seeking a talented IT Cybersecurity/Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This role is pivotal in protecting our organisation's critical IT infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems against evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures whilst managing our IT infrastructure to support business continuity and operational excellence. What you'll be doing

1. Design, implement and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to protect organisational systems, networks and data from security threats and vulnerabilities

2. Monitor and analyse security events, incidents and alerts to identify potential breaches and respond promptly to security threats

3. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in IT infrastructure

4. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures and standards aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements

5. Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software and other security tools to maintain a secure network environment

6. Administer user access controls, authentication systems and identity management to ensure appropriate security governance

7. Maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure including servers, networks, databases and systems to ensure optimal performance and security

8. Provide technical support to end-users regarding security tools, protocols and best practices

9. Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to integrate security measures into infrastructure projects

10. Document security configurations, incidents, remediation actions and maintain comprehensive audit trails

11. Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and security technologies

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience

2. 3-5 years of professional experience in IT cybersecurity, infrastructure management or related roles

3. Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems and security protocols

4. Proficiency with security tools including SIEM platforms, vulnerability assessment tools and endpoint protection software

5. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, databases, cloud services and enterprise systems

6. Experience with system hardening, patch management and security configuration best practices

7. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Controls

8. Ability to conduct security audits and prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations

9. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents under pressure

10. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders

11. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP or similar qualifications are highly valued

12. Experience with cloud security, containerisation and modern infrastructure technologies is preferred
