Job summary

Carenet Health in Makati is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Engineer to manage hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-connected services. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise networks, support backup and disaster recovery, and help deliver changes with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure and network environments.
• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and identity-integrated infrastructure.
• Experience supporting VMware or comparable virtualization platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise networking environments including routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and firewall technologies.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting backup, recovery, and infrastructure resiliency solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, network, security, and connectivity issues.
• Experience with infrastructure and network monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms.
• Support routing, switching, wireless networking, VPN, firewall, and cloud-connectivity technologies.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, network, security, and performance-related incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide escalation-level support for critical network issues.
• Implement approved network changes following established change-management processes.
• Maintain network diagrams, inventories, SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to standardization, automation, and operational-improvement initiatives.
• Support knowledge transfer and cross-training efforts to improve team readiness.
