INTERNATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT INC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair a variety of heavy machinery in a construction setting in the Philippines. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe operation through proper testing and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, a vocational diploma or certificate, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in related field.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand equipment/service manuals.
• Willingness to work in a construction/heavy-equipment environment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in safe and proper working condition
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Perform equipment testing after repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Read and follow equipment operating and service manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance
• Assist with maintaining the company's equipment fleet and ensure machines are ready for operation
• Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage : Excavators, Bulldozers / Dozers, Backhoes, Forklifts, Cranes, Dump trucks / heavy trucks, Other construction or heavy machinery, Generators
