Job summary

Vestas Shared Services Centre in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Finance SSC professional to lead General Ledger and cash accounting activities as part of Record to Report. You will ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, prepare insightful reports, and collaborate with regional finance, payroll, treasury and other SSC functions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, 3–5 years of experience, strong English, and SAP/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related area.
3–5 years of experience in finance roles such as business controlling or financial analysis.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
Analytical mindset with variance analysis and ability to translate insights for stakeholders.
Willingness to extend during month-end close and experience in shared service environments.

Responsibilities

Manage complex month-, quarter-, and year-end closings in line with group policies and SLAs.
Deliver timely financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Communicate issues and updates to stakeholders for pre-close meetings and follow-through.
Resolve accounting issues promptly and escalate as needed before month-end close.
Identify process improvements and keep SOPs updated.
