Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Engineer (Integrations) to design robust integrations. You will build event-driven, cloud-native solutions on AWS, deliver reliable REST APIs and webhooks, and create front-end interfaces with React and TypeScript while coordinating with product, engineering, and external teams to ship platform capabilities.

You will implement scalable architectures, optimize PostgreSQL data models, and contribute to Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building applications in Python
• Hands-on experience with event-driven and serverless architectures on AWS
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and SQS
• Strong knowledge of AWS Step Functions, IAM and CDK
• Experience delivering REST APIs, webhooks and system integrations
• PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Developing web services with FastAPI and Pydantic
• Frontend skills with React, TypeScript and Redux
• Understanding distributed systems and asynchronous processing
• Familiarity with OAuth2 authentication/authorization
• Git, Jira and Agile development practices
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) building applications in Python
• Hands-on experience designing event-driven and serverless architectures on AWS
• Practical knowledge of AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and SQS
• Strong proficiency with AWS Step Functions, IAM, and CDK
• Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Ability to develop web services using FastAPI and Pydantic
• Competency with React, TypeScript, and Redux
• Working knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and workflow orchestration
• Clear understanding of OAuth2 authentication and authorization
• Proficiency using Git, Jira, and Agile development practices
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or above

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environments
• Experience integrating third-party platforms via REST APIs, webhooks, and event streams
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as AWS Step Functions or Temporal
• Ability to design resilient, observable cloud-native systems
