Job summary

PwC México is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (React + .NET) for the Acceleration Center in Mexico City. You will redesign a legacy financial application into a modular, cloud-ready platform, focusing on feature parity while establishing a robust foundation for future improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; must have 'Titulo' or be obtaining with 100% credits.
Strong experience developing backend services and APIs with .NET/C#.
Strong SQL skills, including schema understanding and SQL Server.
Proven ability to deliver across frontend, backend, integration, and application runtime concerns.
Experience working in modular or service-oriented architectures.
Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS, including deployment and security basics.
Ability to work effectively from high-level requirements and collaborative workshops.
Experience learning from or reverse-engineering existing systems.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently in a senior team environment.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver full stack functionality that advances the rebuild of the legacy platform with feature parity and modern architecture.
Build responsive frontend in React and scalable backend services in .NET.
Translate specifications and business scenarios into working software with limited direction.
Participate in JADx discussions to clarify workflows and align implementation to outcomes.
Analyze the legacy application to understand validations, dependencies, and hidden complexity.
Contribute to a modular architecture that supports maintainability and cloud deployment.
Make sound implementation decisions independently and help reduce ambiguity for the team.
Collaborate with engineering leadership, peers, and QA to deliver in a fast-iteration, outcome-focused environment.
Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow for coding, prototyping, and refactoring.
