Job summary

Prudential Manila is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain front-end and back-end components of PLUK systems. You will design, develop, and integrate APIs, databases, and services, while aligning with business and client needs.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a mix of frontend and backend expertise. You will work with various stakeholders including Enterprise Technology, DevOps, and Compliance to deliver secure, scalable software solutions and to stay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, CS or equivalent.
• Frontend technologies: JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5; frameworks React/Angular/jQuery/LESS.
• Backend languages: C#, Java, Python; JS frameworks like Angular/React/Node.js.
• DBMS: SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL; caching: Redis, Memcached, Varnish.
• Server-side: .NET, Java, Ruby, Python; UI/UX awareness; prototyping.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP; at least 3 years as a Full Stack Developer.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across client/server architectures.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement scalable applications and APIs.
• Write tests, troubleshoot issues, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance and security standards are followed.
• Deliver desktop and web applications and services.
