Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on a major cloud platform (Azure preferred) with containerization and infrastructure-as-code.

Responsibilities

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Design, develop and implement new applications and improvements to existing ones using TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React, Cosmos DB, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines and other relevant technologies.
• Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of the features, modules, and services you deliver across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance within your team, contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers on sound design principles and development practices.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other development teams, non-technical partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of client-side applications, automating and enhancing build, test, and deployment processes.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high quality code and alignment to coding standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related engineering degree.
• 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on large-scale cloud-native web applications.
• Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, HTML, and CSS, with hands‑on experience using Cosmos DB or a comparable NoSQL database.
• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with modern software development practices, version control systems, agile methodologies, continuous integration, continuous delivery, etc.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating applications on a major cloud platform (Azure preferred), including containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with automated testing at unit, integration, and end‑to‑end levels, and with secure coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Development experience in Python, Postgres and Django Framework will be a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, possessing the ability to work independently or collaboratively to analyze and address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and those in non‑technical roles.
