Qualifications

We are building experienced frontend engineering professionals to support active and incoming client engagements in React and Ember. If you have a solid background in modern JavaScript and TypeScript development and are ready to own high-traffic booking and checkout experiences, we want to hear from you.

What the Work Looks Like

Depending on the engagement, Senior Frontend Engineers typically work on:

• Building fast, delightful UIs for browse/search, cart, and booking flows

• Implementing modern React patterns (hooks) and state management with Redux or Zustand

• Collaborating with design and back-end teams on component libraries and design systems

• Championing Core Web Vitals performance, WCAG 2.1 accessibility, internationalization, and responsive design

• Writing unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library, plus end-to-end coverage with Cypress

• Maintaining CI pipelines to keep code quality high

• Integrating with REST APIs (GraphQL a plus) and instrumenting analytics and A/B tests

• Picking up and contributing to Ember codebases alongside core React work

What We Look For

Must Have

• Availability to work mid-shift hours with US overlap

• Strong command of core front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• 5+ years building production web applications, with senior-level React expertise

• Solid TypeScript skills and comfort with hooks-based React patterns

• Experience with state management (Redux or Zustand) and component/design systems

• Testing mindset across unit, integration, and E2E (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

Strong Advantage

• Ember experience, or a strong track record of ramping up quickly on new frameworks

• Performance profiling and Core Web Vitals optimization experience

• Accessibility expertise (WCAG 2.1) built into everyday development habits

• Experience with payments, checkout, or complex form flows

• SSR/Next.js exposure

Nice to Have

• GraphQL experience

• Design-system contribution experience

• CSS-in-JS or utility-CSS framework experience
