Job summary

VA Platinum is seeking a Front End Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript. You will join a small, collaborative team building SaaS products with emphasis on scalability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of front-end experience, expert React/TypeScript skills, and is comfortable working in agile teams. A conducive home workspace is welcomed, with opportunities to impact multiple international clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, including at least 3 years at a single company or project.
• Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and GitHub.
• Experience working in small, agile, collaborative teams.
• Exposure to SaaS products, with understanding of scalability and production performance.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience integrating front-end with back-end services via RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with cloud storage services such as Amazon S3.
• Open to applicants with a conducive workspace at home.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, maintainable front-end code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services using RESTful APIs.
• Manage and optimize asset storage and delivery using Amazon S3.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers.
• Maintain a clean, well-documented version control using GitHub.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization of front-end code.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
