Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a highly analytical Senior Manager, Financial Fraud Analytics & Risk Strategy to lead data-driven fraud prevention and risk initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, leveraging data and investigative methods to protect revenue and ensure operational integrity.

The role requires 8+ years in fraud analytics or related fields, with strong SQL/Python, Excel, and data visualization skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
8+ years of experience in Financial Fraud, Risk Management or related areas.
Proven experience developing fraud detection and risk mitigation strategies.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with large datasets.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Experience using SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

Develop data-driven strategies to identify, monitor, and mitigate financial fraud risks.
Analyze fraud trends and operational vulnerabilities to propose risk-reduction initiatives.
Lead investigations and root-cause analyses for fraud incidents.
