Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the three financial statements.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a sharp, curious Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making across multiple consumer brands and legal entities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning their work end to end, digging into the numbers to understand what’s driving results, and turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Own recurring management reporting, including monthly P&L packages, KPI dashboards, and brand-level performance summaries.
• Perform budget vs. actual and period-over-period variance analysis and clearly explain key drivers.
• Build and maintain structured financial models in Excel covering revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, and operating expenses.
• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
• Analyze product and channel profitability, including COGS and inventory data.
• Analyze spending trends and identify areas where costs are running ahead of plan.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure reporting aligns with closed financials and investigate unexpected results.
• Build ad hoc financial analyses and turn complex or messy data into clear recommendations for leadership.
• Use AI tools, primarily Claude, to accelerate data cleanup, documentation, reconciliation, and first-draft analysis while independently validating outputs.
• Improve recurring reporting processes by replacing manual steps with scalable templates and workflows.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a comparable analytical role.
• Experience owning recurring management reporting and variance analysis end to end.
• Experience working in a SaaS environment, with an understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, and key financial/operational metrics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data cleanup, and building structured financial models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of the three financial statements and how business decisions flow through them.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude as part of your regular analytical workflow, with the judgment to verify outputs.
• Strong written and spoken English and the ability to clearly communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
