Job description

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and monthly financial results processes
• Serve as the primary finance business partner and advisor for P&L reporting, revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
• Partner with business stakeholders and the DVP of FP&A to evaluate and recommend strategies for business-unit financial performance
• Lead recurring financial discussions and develop strategies and action plans to exceed targets
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide clear, accurate, actionable strategic insights
• Create Excel-based financial models for forecasts, budgets, scenarios, and sensitivities
• Review actual results against planned targets and provide driver-based variance analysis
• Assess overall profitability and support decisions involving expansion, pricing, and investments
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leaders
• Create FP&A models for AVPs, VPs, and senior management
• Review and consolidate models prepared by Senior Financial Analysts and FP&A Managers
• Provide thought leadership and oversight for team members’ recurring duties
• Continuously innovate planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial-results processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a business-related major required; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of relevant experience in senior-level business partnering and financial analysis
• Proven track record of success and demonstrated career advancement
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation
• Advanced Excel modeling, including complex budget and forecast models, scenario and sensitivity modeling, data structuring, auditability, error checks, and version control
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, trends, profitability, and full P&L performance
• Experience negotiating client, vendor, and service contracts
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and financial systems in an international organization
• Experience or ability to quickly ramp into product margin and profitability analysis, including COGS drivers, freight/shipping/logistics cost impacts, and mix and client/product-level profitability
• Proficiency with Oracle EPM, Tableau, and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment and work with minimal supervision
