Job summary

TP ICAP seeks a Senior Java Engineer to design and maintain enterprise-level trading applications across asset classes, with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, FIX protocol integration, and real-time messaging. This role follows a mid shift with a hybrid setup, three days on-site in Manila, collaborating with architecture and DevOps teams.

You will mentor junior developers and participate in SaFe ceremonies while delivering robust server-side Java solutions in a banking/trading environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in global financial services, specifically trading systems.
• Strong Java enterprise development skills in banking/trading environments.
• Hands-on FIX protocol experience with FIX Engines (QFJ, UlBridge).
• Proficient in Linux, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with cloud deployments on AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform/Ansible).
• Excellent communication and ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side Java for enterprise trading platforms and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps and QA to deploy and troubleshoot in production.
• Provide L3 support for deployments and production issues.
• Participate in SAFe/Scrum ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.
