Job summary

Aurecon Group in Manila is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead analysis and design for complex civil projects. You will interpret geological profiles, define stratigraphy, and guide foundation and slope stability solutions, with emphasis on seismic and liquefaction considerations.

The role requires 8–20 years of NZ/Aus experience, a Civil Engineering degree (BS or MS), and hands-on use of Plaxis, Geostudio, RocScience and CLiq.

Qualifications

• 8 to 20 years of NZ/Aus experience
• BS in Civil Eng degree, or an equivalent Masters
• Ability to understand and interpret complex geological profiles and define stratigraphy
• Experience with soft soil and seismic/liquefaction is an advantage
• Shallow and deep foundation design for buildings, bridges, civil and industrial infra
• Retaining wall design and static/seismic slope stability analysis
