Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and build scalable iOS applications. You will write, review, and architect code using modern practices, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to deliver reliable software.

You will participate in on-call rotations and help improve system health in a hybrid work setup. The role emphasizes ownership of services, on-call readiness, and continuous learning across Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, and related

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Technical Work Design and develop scalable, high-quality iOS applications. Write, review, and architect code using modern engineering practices. Stay updated with new technologies and apply them appropriately. Help reduce technical debt and improve system health. Leadership & Collaboration Mentor junior engineers and support their development. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers. Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Take end-to-end ownership of services (“build and operate” mindset). Operations Participate in on-call rotations and handle incidents. Maintain and update systems and improve reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong iOS development experience using Swift
• Knowledge of mobile development best practices
