Job summary

Arcadis Philippines is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver engineering solutions across a range of projects. You will manage technical aspects, ensure quality, safety, schedule, and cost objectives, and mentor junior engineers within our Design & Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering license or registration where required.
• 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience delivering projects in consulting, design, or engineering environments.
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience using ETAP; Revit experience is an advantage.

• Conduct technical reviews, verification checks, and QA activities on outputs.

Role description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver engineering solutions across a range of projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing technical aspects of engineering tasks, ensuring quality, safety, commercial, and schedule objectives are achieved. Working within our Design & Engineering teams, you'll create some of the world’s most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together.

As a senior engineer, you will provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians, coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration, and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects. You will play a key role in driving technical excellence, quality assurance, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement while supporting the development of team capabilities.

Role accountabilities:

• Apply health, safety, and risk management principles throughout project planning and execution.
• Conduct technical reviews, verification checks, and quality assurance activities on engineering outputs.
• Ensure deliverables comply with applicable standards, codes, regulatory requirements, and organizational procedures.
• Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning to achieve best-value design outcomes.
• Promote safe design practices through hazard identification and risk assessment processes
• Lead and manage technical aspects of smaller projects or components of larger, complex projects.
• Coordinate and supervise small teams of engineers and technicians to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
• Develop and recommend technical methodologies and engineering solutions.
• Present technical recommendations and solutions to project teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and overall project success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Professional Engineering license or registration, where required by local regulations.
• at least 7-10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering engineering projects within a professional consulting, design, or engineering environment.
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Must have experience using ETAP. experience in Revit is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, and project deliverables.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience in quality assurance, design review, and technical verification processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound engineering judgment and independently solve complex technical challenges.
• Understanding of health, safety, risk management, and sustainable engineering principles.
• Effective planning, organization, and commercial awareness skills.
• Proven ability to work successfully with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
