Qualifications

• CAD drafting or design experience in construction with electrical works.
• Rail or heavy infrastructure experience is a plus.
• Typically office-based with occasional site visits for accuracy and field measurements.

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create or modify technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Translate electrical technical documents and sketches into detailed drawings for construction or shop drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform dimensional and calculation checks to verify design accuracy and compliance with building codes or engineering standards.
• Maintain and update CAD files and documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility for project teams.
