Job summary

Premier Research is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Strategy and Delivery to lead our Clinical Management team in shaping end-to-end trial delivery and strategic execution for biotech and pharma partners.

You will drive risk-based monitoring adoption, oversee protocol execution risks, collaborate with commercial and SSU teams, and ensure adherence to GCP/ICH, quality standards, and timelines across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 12+ years clinical research with at least 5 years in management roles.
• Expert knowledge of GCP and ICH E6 R2 guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Risk Based Monitoring methodologies and concepts.
• Understanding of clinical operations from start-up to close-out.
• Experience with central monitoring approaches and systems.
• Strong financial management of projects.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Proposal Development and RBM strategy.
• Supports commercial activities and risk-based monitoring components.
• Collaborates with SSU to ensure start-up timelines and escalate delays.
• Create and oversee the monitoring strategy for internal teams and sponsors.
• Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and regulatory framework.
• Evaluate and participate in Risk Assessment and ongoing reviews.
• Oversee clinical teams' management of protocol execution risks and issues.
