Job summary

Pacvue is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will design and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines, work on high-impact problems, and mentor other engineers to ship faster and more reliably.

You will partner with product and engineering teams to set standards, improve security and observability, and drive end-to-end infrastructure initiatives. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience.
• Strong expertise with AWS networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Hands-on IaC and containerization/ orchestration.
• Ability to work independently and mentor others.
• Experience in high-growth e-commerce/ad-tech environments, observability tools, and security/compliance planning.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot production incidents with minimal playbook guidance.
• Drive infrastructure projects end-to-end with high-level guidance.
• Establish infrastructure standards and CI/CD best practices with engineering/product teams.
• Advise on deployment strategy and infrastructure decisions when input is needed.
• Monitor security, observability, and risk management across systems.

About theRole:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on our Platform Engineeringteam,you'llbring deep, hands-onexpertiseto solve infrastructure challenges with minimal oversightacrossPacvueand Prism— designing the systems, pipelines, and standards that let every engineering team ship faster and more reliably.You’llwork independently on high-impact problems, mentor other engineers, anddrive your own projects end-to-end with little need for day-to-day direction

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, andoptimizethe cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines that powerPacvueand Prism across multiple product and engineering teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents of varying scope and complexity,using sound judgment to resolve issues thatdon'talways have a documented playbook
• Drive infrastructure projects end-to-end — from planning and architecture through documentation — with only high-level check-ins along the way
• Partner with engineering and product teams toestablishinfrastructure standards, CI/CD best practices, and operational procedures that improve reliability and developer productivity
• Serve as a go-to resource for other teams on deployment strategy and infrastructure decisions when they need input
• Monitor system performance and security proactively — including secret hygiene, access controls, and observability —identifyingrisks early and preventing future issues

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience, with advanced knowledge of AWS (networking, compute, storage, and security)
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiencyin at least one language for automation and tooling (Python, Go, Bash, or similar) anda track recorddesigning andmaintainingCI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex multi-system problems, and mentor other engineers
• Experience in high-growth e-commerce/ad-tech environments, observability tooling (OTel, New Relic, Prometheus, or similar), and infrastructure security/compliance/disaster recovery planning

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000-165,000USD. The actual salary will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data for their location. This position is also eligible for anadditionalannual bonus compensation through one ofPacvue’shighly attractive incentiveplans,full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
