Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. in Taguig seeks an experienced Data Tester Lead to oversee data testing across enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data. You will lead QA efforts, coordinate with data engineers and stakeholders, and drive ETL testing, data validation, and reconciliation.

The role requires 10+ years in QA/data testing, 2–3 years in leadership, strong SQL skills, and experience with Jira/Azure DevOps/HP ALM. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in QA testing, data testing, or ETL testing.
• At least 2–3 years of experience leading or supervising data testing teams.
• Strong experience in ETL testing, data warehousing, data validation, and data reconciliation.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data verification, complex queries, and source-to-target validation.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with data integration, data migration, and data pipeline testing.
• Experience with defect management and testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex data discrepancies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data testing activities throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and implement data testing strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform and oversee ETL testing, data validation, and data reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Validate data transformation rules, mappings, pipelines, and warehouse processes using SQL.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality across data lakes and warehouses.
• Lead testing activities for data integration, migration, and loading processes.
• Conduct functional testing, regression testing, SIT, and UAT as required.
• Manage defect identification, logging, tracking, prioritization, and resolution with developers and data engineers.
• Review test results, analyze data discrepancies, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
