Job summary

ERNI Philippines is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, develop, and sustain enterprise data platforms in a fast-growing software services environment. You will build secure data pipelines, integrate Databricks, Python, and PySpark workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders across regions.

The role emphasizes Azure-based data lake/warehouse architecture, CI/CD automation, and agile delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, data science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of data/platform/software engineering experience including architecture and development of integrated systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable, secure data pipelines and data lake/warehouse architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
• Prepare high-level and detailed designs, implement CI/CD automation, and write unit-tested secure code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and stay current with new analytics technologies.
• Provide dashboards and data products for analytics enablement and decision support.
