Fireworks AI is building a unified, high‑performance data layer that spans parallel file systems, object storage, and caches across multiple clouds for GPU workloads. You’ll own data placement, replication and movement to ensure training and inference never wait for data.

The role emphasizes deep systems expertise, Kubernetes CSI integration, and performance tuning. You’ll ship reliable storage infra at scale and work with a world‑class AI team to push the boundaries of data‑driven AI workloads.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years designing, building and operating storage, caching or data infrastructure at scale.
• Strong software development in C/C++, Rust or Go, plus Python or Go for automation.
• Deep understanding of distributed storage, replication, consensus (Raft/Paxos), metadata scaling and failure recovery.
