Pandoblox is seeking a Senior Data Engineer who combines data‑engineering mastery with an analyst edge. This hands‑on role turns raw sources into governed data marts powering executive decisions and AI agents.

Expect to own end‑to‑end pipelines across multiple clients, build dbt projects, optimize BigQuery-based warehouses, and collaborate with client operators and analysts to derive clear metrics and trusted data for decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Experience across Sales/Marketing/Finance/Finance related/Media industries preferred.
• Proven ownership of cloud data warehouses and performance tuning.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from multiple sources into the warehouse via an ELT layer.
• Maintain three-layer dbt projects per client (staging, intermediate, marts).
• Define and document metrics, maintain reconciliation with source of truth.
• Lead end-to-end pipeline operations across concurrent clients.
• Collaborate with operators, analysts, and engineers to capture domain logic.
• Apply disciplined, version-controlled data practices in a startup setting.
• Train and mentor teammates on dbt, BigQuery, and best practices.
• Support AI agent tooling and semantic layer definitions.
