Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain cloud-based data solutions in Manila. You will build real-time and batch data pipelines, optimize models, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable data warehousing.

The role requires 3+ years of AWS experience (Redshift, S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda), strong SQL and Python skills, and a good grasp of CI/CD and Agile practices. Excellent communication and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cloud-based data solution development, data integration, and data warehousing.
3+ years hands-on with AWS services including Redshift, S3, IAM, Glue, and Lambda.
Strong programming experience with SQL and Python.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automation best practices.
Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation and support materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enable delivery of data solutions.
Ensure quick turnaround of critical support issues within production data environments.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to peers.
Assess requirements for completeness and clarify where required.
Contribute to team estimation of development work for informed decisions.
Analyze data solution requirements, source constraints, transformation logic, and reporting needs.
Identify risks, dependencies, data quality issues, and technical considerations affecting delivery.
Design, develop and implement enhancements to the data warehouse.
Design, develop and implement real-time and batch data pipelines using SQL and Python.
Automate build and deployment of data pipelines using CI/CD best practices.
Develop reusable frameworks for data integration needs.
Ensure data compliance and security in solution design.
Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and workflows.
Prepare and maintain technical/support documentation.
