The Qualifications We Seek

Requirements:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in cloud-native environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Python, SQL, Power BI, and DBT (non-negotiable)
• Proven ability to design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Skilled in evaluating and recommending data architectures and platforms based on performance, cost, and maintainability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Tech Stack You’ll Work With (Flexible)

• AWS: S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, Lake Formation
• BI & Analytics: Power BI, Redshift
• Languages: Python, SQL
• ETL/Orchestration: Glue Jobs, dbt, Airflow
• Also considering: Databricks (Delta Lake, MLFlow), Snowflake, Kafka, Iceberg - open to your input

Nice to Have:

• Experience with real-time/streaming pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Exposure to ML workflows, feature stores, or MLOps frameworks
• Knowledge of data compliance, monitoring, and observability tools

Your Daily Tasks

• Engineer scalable pipelines ingesting structured/unstructured data (CRM, product logs, transcripts, images, etc.)
• Design future-proof data lake architectures using AWS or Databricks
• Evaluate modern data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks) for cost and performance
• Define and maintain raw → curated zones with cataloging, lineage, and governance
• Build analytics-ready and ML-ready datasets for BI, Data Science, and ML teams
• Implement best practices for access control, governance, observability, and cost management
• Ensure robust data quality, monitoring, and performance metrics
