Job summary

The role emphasizes real-time intrusion detection, log correlation, and encryption implementations to protect critical assets. The position supports a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig City, with a requirement of at least five years in cybersecurity and IT administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any IT related course.
• At least 5 years of experience in System Administration, Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity Services.
• Have experience in IT Security (Authentication, PKI and Vulnerabilities).
• Willing to work on a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve security posture while detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents with expertise, technology, intelligence, and well defined processes and procedures.
• Detect unseen cyber incidents while decreasing false positives through multiple layers of log, event, and threat correlation.
• Detect and analyze potential intrusions in real time through historical trending on security-relevant data sources and through correlation with threat intelligence databases.
• Respond quickly to confirmed incidents with an agreed alerting time from detection and through workflow automation.
• Antivirus management for Servers and Endpoints
• Monitor antivirus alerts centrally and escalate events per incident severity (aligned with DMPL incident lifecycle expectations)
• Install and configure antivirus software and encryption on servers, endpoints, and other managed devices.
