Job summary

Manila Hearing Aid Center, Inc. is seeking a cost accounting professional to manage expenditures, analyze budgets, and maintain financial records.

The role emphasizes accuracy, internal controls, and timely month-end close. The ideal candidate holds a BS Accountancy, CPA preferred, and at least five years of cost accounting experience, with proficiency in Netsuite and producing actionable cost analyses for pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy or any business-related course.
• Preferably a CPA.
• 5 years of experience in cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end closing activities by ensuring that costs are recorded in the correct period and charged to the appropriate cost centers.
• Validate inventory variances during physical inventory counts, assign costs and records inventory adjustments in Netsuite.
• Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management.
• Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books.
