Job summary

Tasq Work is seeking a seasoned BI professional to architect and deliver Power BI solutions for clients in the Philippines. You will build scalable data models, implement DAX calculations, and guide deployments to Power BI service.

You will collaborate across teams, translate business questions into reports, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Power Query, and Databricks. A strong background in data warehousing and cloud data services is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer, engineering, data science or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years working with data and BI solutions on the Microsoft tool stack (Power BI, SSRS, Excel), or other BI tools
• Working knowledge of TSQL, data modeling, reporting using Power BI or other Microsoft tools
• Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters
• Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques
• Knowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M
• Utilize Databricks to develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines
• Ability to report visual choices and interactions
• Design user-friendly interfaces for end users of the database
• Ability to gather requirements and conduct focus groups to grow the business

• Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions based on business questions with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters
• Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques
• Knowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M language
• Utilize Databricks platform to develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines and workflows.
• Ability to report visual choices and visual interactions
• Design, develop and implement user interfaces to ensure ease of use and minimal knowledge by the functional work group that will be using the database
• Ability to gather requirements and conduct focus groups to determine the processes needed to assist and grow the business

• Experience deploying Power BI solutions to the Power BI Report Server (on-premises)
• Experience deploying Power BI solutions using Power BI Embedded
• Deploying cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL DB
