Procter & Gamble in Manila seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). You will design, build, test, deploy, and monitor security solutions, collaborating with architects and security teams.

You will lead risk assessments, establish testing standards, and support incident response, while promoting security awareness through documentation and trainings.

Formación

• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP in security roles.
• Understanding of cloud architecture patterns and services.
• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge in design and operation.
• Knowledge of OWASP, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS.
• Fluent English with ability to communicate business risk and remediation plans.
• Self-starter, highly organized and analytical.

Here’s what you’ll be doing: As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing the security posture of our organization. You will handle day‑to‑day design, build, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance and monitoring of security solutions and platforms. You will engage in information security projects that evaluate existing security solutions and propose changes as defined by security leadership and architects. Additionally, you will communicate and support the remediation of security issues in a manner understood by technical and non‑technical partners based on risk tolerance and threat to the business, and gain support through influential messaging.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and own security tools and processes to continuously identify, prevent, detect and remediate risk issues.
• Perform risk assessment of existing and new designs for compliance with security standards, frameworks and best practices. Recommend technical, administrative, and operational controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Lead compliance efforts across application, integration and infrastructure teams. Collaborate with other teams incl. security governance, operations and audit.
• Establish and promote security testing standards, with special focus on continuous, automated testing leveraging AI.
• Assist Incident Response teams in investigation, triage, containment, and eradication efforts.
• Build cloud security awareness, knowledge and experience within broader IT organization through documentation, trainings and consultancies.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Experience with any of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP (preferably in a security, administration or operations role).
• Understanding of cloud architecture patterns, integrations, common cloud services (databases, storage, compute, etc.).
• Proven basic cybersecurity background in technology design, implementation and operation.
• Awareness of security standards, frameworks and general best practices (OWASP, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, etc.).
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision, highly organized and efficient. Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Fluent English, excellence in communicating business risk and remediation plans.
• Demonstrated strategic and tactical thinking, decision‑making and due diligence.

Nice to have

• Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK or other security frameworks.
• Experience with hardening Windows and Linux operating systems, applications, and devices.
• Practical knowledge of containers, container orchestration, APIs, modern SDLC.
• Experience working with cloud logs, observability, monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Experience with DevSecOps: CI/CD, automated testing, Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. tools like Terraform, Github Actions, SonarQube, Open Policy Agent, etc.).
• Experience with any of the following: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), public key infrastructure (PKI), identity and access management systems, web application firewalls, network segmentation, endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration.
