Job summary

Axos is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across modern platforms. You will protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and data while enabling scalable operations in multi-cloud and AI-driven environments.

Your role includes designing security controls, assessing vulnerabilities, and leading incident response. The position requires hands-on cloud experience, scripting skills, and familiarity with security frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong focus on cloud security
• Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS); multi-cloud experience preferred
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, IAM, networking, and encryption
• Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks)
• Proficiency in ing (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and automation tools
• Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security is a plus
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)

Responsibilities

About This Job
