Emerson Electric Co. Philippines is seeking a Principal Cloud Solutions Engineer to shape the strategy, architecture, reliability, and continuous improvement of cloud-based SCADA solutions and related technologies.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders, influence technical decisions, mentor teams, and drive innovation that enhances performance, scalability, and adoption of Emerson's cloud solutions across customer environments.

Qualifications

Experience serving as a technical expert in cloud services, OT, SCADA, or related environments.
Proven success delivering and supporting complex technical solutions in customer-facing contexts.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and data acquisition technologies.
Ability to diagnose and resolve highly complex issues across multiple systems.
Strong communication to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to influence technical direction and collaborate across functions.
Experience identifying opportunities for automation and operational optimization.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical authority for cloud administration, cloud-based SCADA solutions, and associated applications.
Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of complex cloud-based customer environments.
Provide advanced troubleshooting expertise for critical customers, system, and platform issues.
Develop and recommend technical strategies, standards, and best practices that improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
Partner with engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that support business objectives and customer needs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service delivery, system performance, automation, and operational excellence.
Act as a senior escalation point for highly complex technical challenges.
Influence product enhancements and technology roadmaps through subject matter expertise and customer insights.
Mentor technical team members and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation, implementation standards, and operational processes.
Support strategic customer initiatives by providing technical consultation and guidance.
