AMCS Group is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our engineering team. You will manage SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL databases across development and production, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable performance.

You’ll work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), automate tasks with PowerShell and Python, and collaborate with developers to design robust data solutions while guiding incident response and data governance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration with at least 2 years in a cloud environment.
• Good knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL in cloud setups.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD for database changes.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and DataDog.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, manage, and maintain SQL databases across development and production environments.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud database infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Python.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance for a large estate.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues with timely solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement robust database solutions.
• Act as SME during live incidents and ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Undertake database project work as required.
