Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead project teams and drive project delivery from planning through close-out. You will oversee cost management, establish execution plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure safety on site.

A civil engineering degree and PE license are required, with 10+ years in the field and 5 years in PM. Willingness to be deployed anywhere and strong communication with contractors, vendors, and suppliers are essential

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; advanced degree assets.
Professional license is essential.
At least 10 years in related field with 5 years in project management.
Willing to be deployed to any location.

Responsibilities

Communicate management direction to the team, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Manage team performance and align with group targets.
Oversee project cost management, including contingencies.
Deliver projects from planning to close out on time and with quality.
Develop a detailed project execution plan with required resources.
Plan strategic options for schedule delays and anticipate issues.
Coordinate with stakeholders to manage expectations.
Review project costs and ensure compliance with budget.
Ensure site safety protocols are followed.
