Job summary

Lennor Metier is recruiting for a civil design and drafting expert to support Australian infrastructure projects from the Philippines. The role emphasizes water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, with emphasis on accuracy, interoperability, and compliance with Australian standards.

The selected candidate will work remotely with an early-hour shift and provide construction-ready drawings, maintaining QA across multiple packages while coordinating with Australian engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of civil design and drafting experience.
• Experience supporting Australian civil projects with relevant standards.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (pipe networks, surfaces, alignments).
• Ability to independently produce construction-ready drawings and documentation.
• Strong English communication and client coordination.
• Sample portfolio of civil design/drafting projects required.
• Willingness to work an early-morning shift (6:00–7:00 AM Philippine Time).
• Stable internet connection for full-time remote work.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, construction-ready drawings for Australian infrastructure projects (water/wastewater/stormwater).
• Interpret briefs and standards per Australian authorities.
• Develop and maintain AutoCAD Civil 3D models (surfaces, alignments, profiles, pipe networks).
• Prepare general arrangement plans, sections, construction details, and drawings.
• Generate design data such as invert levels and GP lines.
• Incorporate survey data and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with Australian engineers, designers, and PMs to resolve queries.
• Manage drawing revisions and documentation registers across project stages.
• Conduct drawing quality checks for accuracy and constructability.

Location: Philippines

Work Setup: Full-Time, Work From Home (WFH)

Compensation Range: ₱80,000 – ₱85,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, construction-ready civil engineering drawings and documentation for Australian infrastructure projects, primarily focusing on water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities.


• Interpret engineering briefs, sketches, and technical specifications in accordance with Australian engineering standards and authority requirements.


• Develop and maintain AutoCAD Civil 3D models, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks.


• Prepare general arrangement plans, longitudinal sections, construction details, and engineering drawings.


• Generate technical schedules and design data, including invert levels, grades, chainages, pipe materials, and hydraulic grade lines.


• Incorporate survey information, existing utility services, and relevant authority requirements into engineering designs.


• Prepare construction and connection details, ensuring compliance with applicable Australian standards.


• Conduct drawing quality checks, identify design inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.


• Coordinate with Australian Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers to resolve technical queries and maintain design consistency.


• Manage drawing revisions, documentation registers, and complete drawing packages across multiple project stages.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.


• At least 7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and drafting, particularly in water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.


• Proven experience supporting Australian civil engineering projects, with strong knowledge of Australian engineering standards, codes, and water authority requirements.


• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including pipe networks, surfaces, alignments, profiles, and construction documentation.


• Demonstrated ability to independently produce accurate, construction-ready engineering drawings and technical documentation.


• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating directly with Australian clients, Engineers, and Project Managers.


• Excellent attention to detail, technical problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple design packages independently.


• Must provide a sample portfolio of relevant civil design and drafting projects as part of the application process.


• Willingness to work an early morning shift starting between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM Philippine Time.


• Must have a stable and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with Australian civil engineering consultancies or infrastructure clients.


• Experience handling complex utility design packages, including longitudinal sections, hydraulic grade lines, pipe schedules, and construction details.


• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering drawings and resolving technical design queries.
