Job summary

Dyson Institute in the Philippines and Singapore seeks a capable engineer to lead CFD-driven design work for fluid dynamics and thermal management in consumer electrical appliances. You will develop simulations, validate against testing, and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team to accelerate product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering field; Master preferred.
• 3 years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Experience with flow measurement techniques (PIV, shadowgraphy, pressure transducers).
• CFD software proficiency (Fluent/OpenFOAM; ANSA).
• Experience with data acquisition hardware/software (e.g., NI, FLIR).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality CFD models to guide design iterations.
• Verify fluids performance with established test methodologies.
• Contribute to fluid and thermodynamics disciplines for the project.
• Lead discipline team to resolve technical challenges and provide direction.
• Communicate progress and risks to project delivery team.
