Job summary

Deltek Systems (Philippines), Ltd. is seeking a software engineer to develop the Acumen product using C# and WPF, applying GenAI-powered tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high quality.

You will work with AI-assisted workflows across analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation, delivering enterprise software with robust architecture (MVVM, REST) and a strong focus on code quality and timely delivery.

Job description

Position Responsibilities

• Develop software for the Acumen product using C# and WPF technologies, leveraging GenAI-powered code generation tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar) to accelerate delivery and maintain high code quality standards

• Undertake analysis, design, coding, and testing activities using AI-assisted workflows to enhance thoroughness, reduce cycle time, and surface design considerations earlier in the development process

• Develop software on time and to required quality standards, utilizing agentic AI tools to automate repetitive development tasks, flag potential issues proactively, and support consistent on-time delivery

• Support the company's development processes and guidelines — including code reviews, coding style, and unit testing requirements — by integrating AI-assisted code review tools and automated test generation to improve consistency and coverage across the team

• Research and understand marketing requirements for a product — including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues — using GenAI-powered research and summarization tools to synthesize market intelligence more efficiently and inform development priorities

Does this position require a degree? :

Qualifications :

1. C# — including proficiency with AI-assisted code generation and refactoring tools to write cleaner, more efficient C# code

2. XAML (WPF, WinRT, or Silverlight) — with an ability to leverage GenAI tools to accelerate UI development and explore design alternatives

3. MVVM — with experience applying AI-enhanced workflows to maintain clean architectural separation and improve pattern consistency

4. Experience with Unity (IoC), REST, and multi-threading is a plus, including comfort using AI-assisted debugging and intelligent documentation tools to navigate complex concurrency challenges

2. Experience working with Oracle and SQL Server databases, including writing queries and stored procedures for both; experience using GenAI-assisted query optimization and AI-powered schema analysis tools to improve database performance is desirable

3. Experience developing enterprise business applications, with demonstrated ability to apply AI-assisted development practices to manage complexity, improve maintainability, and accelerate feature delivery at enterprise scale

4. Experience with Agile Development, including familiarity with how AI-powered planning and retrospective tools can enhance sprint efficiency, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement practices

5. Strong analytical and debugging skills, augmented by the ability to leverage intelligent debugging assistants and AI-powered log analysis tools to identify root causes faster and with greater precision

6. High level of commitment to developing high-quality software, including a proactive approach to integrating AI-assisted testing frameworks, automated code quality analysis, and GenAI-generated unit test suggestions to uphold and elevate quality standards

7. Strong desire to continually improve knowledge and skills through personal development activities — including staying current with the rapidly evolving landscape of AI development tools — and to apply both traditional and AI-enhanced techniques to drive continuous software improvement
