Job summary

GECO Asia, an IT consultancy with offices in the Philippines, is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to develop and maintain software solutions, automate processes, and build dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ programming, Python automation, cloud development, and SQL.

The role features a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite per week) at Uptown 2, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, with potential for future absorption into the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering and/or software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• Experience developing software automation services using Python.
• Experience building dashboards using SQL and C++.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud development.
• Knowledge of Linux administration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Candidates with relevant practical experience and equivalent qualifications are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software automation services using Python.
• Design, develop, and support cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Perform Linux administration and support cloud development activities.
• Build and maintain dashboards using SQL and C++.
• Develop, test, debug, and optimize software applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that meet project requirements.
