Job summary

Jollibee Foods Corporation is seeking a Senior Buyer to support category strategies and ensure alignment with procurement policies. The role covers stakeholder requirements, supplier lifecycle management, local sourcing compliance, and process improvements in partnership with procurement leadership.

Responsibilities include supplier network robustness, cost leadership via digital tools, supplier relationship management, and leading projects with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
• At least 2 years of end-to-end procurement experience in any commodity (experience in the food category is a plus).
• Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).

Job description

The Senior Buyer will support the category manager by contributing to the category sourcing strategies and ensuring alignment with Jollibee Foods Corporation’s (JFC) procurement policies and procedures.

This includes:

• Identifying stakeholder requirements and execution of category plans
• Supply base optimization, market knowledge assimilation, analysis and application
• Managing the supplier lifecycle – accreditation, onboarding, performance and phase out
• Ensuring local sourcing practices and processes conform to overall procurement policies.
• Suggesting and working with the procurement leadership team to establish process improvements, contributing to implementation and adherence on-site.
• Partnering with Global Procurement teams and internal stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Supply and Risk Management: deliver a robust, optimized and agile supplier network for current and future JFC requirements.
• Cost Leadership: spend cost reduction, leveraging digital tools, business partnerships and increasing spend influence and management to maximize savings.
• Supplier Relationship Management: manage supplier partnerships, performance and the supplier lifecycle delivering competitive advantage through leadership on cost, innovation, sustainability and supply resiliency.
• People Leadership: leading a team, as well as managing projects and programs.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
• At least 2 years of end-to-end procurement experience in any commodity (experience in the food category is a plus).
• Demonstrated success in supporting a multi-disciplinary team in a project‑led environment.
• Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
