Job summary

Warman O'Brien is seeking an experienced Principal Biostatistician to provide statistical leadership across global trials while collaborating with pharma and biotech clients. This fully home-based position supports Poland, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic or Hungary.

You will lead studies, drive regulatory submissions, mentor junior statisticians, and ensure high-quality statistical deliverables across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biostatistics or a related field.
• 7+ years' experience with a PhD or 9+ years with MSc in clinical biostatistics.
• Extensive experience supporting Phase I-IV clinical trials in pharma or CRO settings.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and drug development processes.
• Experience leading multiple studies or programmes with regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead biostatistics activities across studies and regulatory submissions.
• Provide statistical leadership and oversight throughout the clinical development lifecycle.
• Review and approve SAPs, protocols, CSRs and other statistics deliverables.
• Collaborate with sponsors, project teams and regulators to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Provide statistical consultancy for proposals, planning and budgeting.
• Participate in bid defence meetings and client presentations for biostatistics.
• Mentor junior statisticians and promote best practices across projects.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory requirements and high quality standards.
